I tend to spend too much time on the Internet exploring
items related to archaeology. Our list of links has numerous web sites to explore
and navigate through. To be sure, the web has an endless supply of sites to
check out and enjoy, but I prefer sites that have numerous links. On that note,
I would recommend going to Yahoo.com and
clicking on the SocialScience link, or to be more direct, go tohttp://dir.yahoo.com/socialscience/anthropologyandarchaeology.
The list of topics and
links that can be perused are incredible, and cover everything from ancient
art through zooarchaeology. My personal favorite category is prehistoric,
which has links to topics such as the ethics of artifact collecting, personal
collections, Clovis and beyond, Kenniwick Man, etc. Two additional sites
that are well worth investigating is www.siftings.com/aenasale.html
, that provides information on obtaining back issues of the Archaeology of Eastern
North America, and www.lakesregionofmaine.gen.us/sebago_anthro/
by Dr. Alvin Morrison. Check these out for many ours of enjoyable and informative
reading.
