OUT OF PRINT OCCASIONAL PUBLICATIONS IN MAINE ARCHAEOLOGY
BOOKS ON CD-ROM

The Maine Archaeological Society has produced scanned (pdf - format) versions of the following out-of-print books on CD-ROM. Each CD has one or more files that includes scanned copies of the pages, plus a separate photo file (tiff format) for each half-tone that appears in the book. The pdf files can be text-searched for key words (and read with Adobe Acrobat Reader). The photo files have been scanned from the original publication, and descreened as much as possible to eliminate the dot patterns of a half-tone. Unfortunately, the original photographs were not available, so the tiff images are not as crisp and clear as if the original photographs had been available.
